Seahawks-Chargers game thread

This year the NFL preseason starts by showcasing our Seattle Seahawks against the San Diego Chargers. The "Charlie Whitehurst" bowl we'll call it since it's a preseason game. I'm excited that football is finally starting this year as our Seattle Mariners continue to struggle. There will be a ton of players to watch for none bigger than Tarvaris Jackson the new quarterback of the Seattle Seahawks. He'll be watched very closely by Seahawks nation. We can save our opinions of him now and support our quarterback. Jackson could be the guy for the future or he could just be a one year stop gap. Who really knows? I'm just excited to finally see the defending NFC West champions take the field in year two of the Pete Carroll regime. In this post I'll have a game thread chat which will start at 4 p.m. hope everyone is there. I'll continue this chat throughout the entire game regardless of if the game is close or a blowout. We'll discuss the game, the Seahawks and the NFL if you want.
