With the 2011 MLS season upon us, the upcoming rookies had to wait till today to find out where they were gonna end up. A record seven players from the University of Akron were selected in this years MLS SuperDraft, including five of the first eight picks in the first round. The biggest surprise to me was United States U-20 international Omar Salgado selected as the first overall pick by the Vancouver Whitecaps. Here's list of players selected in the MLS SuperDraft.
